The Student Parliament supports the Palestinian students grass-roots solidarity movement presence on campus, and understands the need for a permanent social gathering space for Palestinian students and student activists, holding small events on Palestine, students democracy, educational workshops, continuing activist work and informing students on problematic aspects regarding the UiO position.
In agreement with the Student Parliament Political Platform, we support the need for a better all-year location for the movement, and recommend the University of Oslo to allocate the necessary public space close to Frederikkeplassen, like a first floor cafeteria spot.
