The Social Democrats, the Blue List and the HF-list went up a mandate in the Student Elections 2011. The Social Democrats got the most votes of all lists, closely followed by the Left-wing Alliance.
YOU have the possibility to influence the decision-makers of your regular student life. From April 5th to 12th all UiO-students will vote for which list they want to represent them in the Student Parliament.

In week 8, February 21th-25thInternational Week takes place at the UiO.
The Student Parliament and a variety of organizations at the University of Oslo have joined together in the creation of International Week. All events will be held in English and we are hoping to create interesting meeting place for international and Norwegian students during the University of Oslo’s anniversary year. The University of Oslo is an international campus and we wish to render this visible through the social activities that takes place while studying.
The program contains seminars, debates, movies, photo exhibitions, quiz, music and sports.
A heartily welcome to International Week from us all. We are looking forward to seeing you!

Blindern says thank you for the tenners! Through the established “tenners” at 27 institutions of higher learning in Norway, students can choose to support their projects over their semester fees. The money will help support higher and informal education for youth in Bolivia, Nicaragua, Zimbabwe, Zambia and South-Africa and North/South-information in Norway.
Students at UiO support SAIH’s work with 30 kroners each semester. As a thank you, SAIH Blindern will be present around campuswith free coffee and information between Monday January 31st and Friday February 4th.
